All Litopians have the abilty to tag threads (look at the top of this one - it's tagged "Tags").
While not every thread needs a tag, sometimes the thread is just so darn useful that it really ought to be tagged. Why? Well because threads die pretty quickly once they move off the first page here. And although there's a ton of useful information in the "back end" of Litopia, getting easy access to it is difficult. A well-considered tag might just keep that thread alive and relevant for all Litopians.
So please consider tagging your thread, or indeed any other thread you feel may have enduring use to your fellow writers.
