• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi @Emily

That’s brilliant. Thanks for tipping me off. Will have a listen later tonight or tomorrow.

He’s one of my favourite authors. Unique style and absolute master of dialogue.

Hope your son was able to help you with the website the other day.

You are more than welcome! I remember you saying he's was one of your favourite :) It's a great read/listen.

And yes! My son overhauled my blog (ten years of content and needed a lot of work to untangle it) and he's working on my website now. Good to see the fruits of those college fees!!

Just listened / read it. Loved it.

Like everything he does it's so well observed. Comedy and pathos, sharp-witted mesmerising authentic and thought-provoking dialogue. Brilliant ending too.

Thanks for posting the link again @Emily

Oh, and "don't Google" ;)
