• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

I've been simultaneously editing the 2nd & 3rd books in my series. These are the 'before they met' stories of my MC's Maddy and T (Dinah) from The Red Carnation. T's is Wayyyyy too long and I needed a new way to edit it so I zoomed out in Word then different color highlighted all the too long chapters & saved those individually.

I finished chapter eight & next on the alpha list was fifteen. Then it goes to 14 & 19 & 16 etc. I'm hoping the jumps will help unfocus the brain enough to delete the unnecessary flotsam. Defo hard decisions when 'Teaching' brain argues with 'Rational' brain about wanting to keep indepth facts. LOL Am dreading the chapter where T's at the Academy!

Anyone else edit weird?
