• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

This is a deeply personal exhibition that spans generations. As you may know, my mother's writing career took off with the publication of her Tall Stones Trilogy in 1977.
Florence has now produced an amazing triptych of paintings of the Castlerigg Stone Circle, partly in homage to her grandmother, and partly because of her own spiritual journey. The triptych and other smaller works are being exhibited for the first time, in what I pray will be the start of a great career.

I hope that any Litopians near Windermere in the Lake District (in the UK) at this time will pop in and see it. Even better, go to the official opening.
