• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

    This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

    Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

    • Don't give offence
    • Don't take offence

    We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Poetry Lovers

The World Between the Words
Wild heart, emotion, cry to me
you surge and grow and flow and weep
you stare you care you dare I try
let love pass here to fall and fly.
We sigh, we see, we dream to be,
to touch the parts that set us free;
I fly You fly with me.

Be, wild heart, with me and see
me smile wide-eyed and cry and die.
Push sighs into my mouth my breast
and rest.
Caress my form.
And care.

Slow whisper love
Lives burn as new
as hearts as flesh fling true set free;
I fly You fly with me.
