Ladies of loveliness everywhere
Especially those beside us here
Delight our eyes, our hearts, our souls.

More than gems and finest gold
Thy merest smile brings pleasure.

And when you speak, all hearts do leap,
Thy graceful voice to hear,
Let you but walk across the room
All eyes do follow there!

So gentle ladies, hear our prayer
And give us loving signs
That despite our manly awkwardness
