Saw this on an author's Twitter feed earlier. It's from an article in The Guardian by DCB Pierre who won the Booker and Whitbread Prizes in 2003 with the novel he's referring to here.

We've all been part of the way down this road. Wouldn't it be great to get to journey's end?
