I can't find the actual article but I read in the metro today about an 11 year old who has opened his own sweet shop based upon characters from his book. He's earning £1k a week and looking for a publisher for his book. Talk about starting early :eek:
The only thing on my mind at that age was playing with Barbie dolls.

That was when I wrote my first 'book,' if you can call it that — about 30 pages of "Jason Byrne Going on Super-Awesome Adventures with Link from Zelda."
Insane to think he's already thinking about publishing... I didn't for another eighteen years...
