Very sad she died, but I do thank her for To Kill A Mockingbird. That book helped shape who I am today, and is still the standard by which I judge most books I read.

My very favorite final line in any book or m0vie: "Hey, Boo." There are so few writers with a gift like hers that ever emerge. I read it first when I was a schoolkid, and it is still one of the most powerful influences on my own ideas of isolation and acceptance. I'm sorry they published the earlier draft. It just confuses her amazing legacy.
