If any of you live within reach of Edinburgh, Scotland, check out Edinburgh's Cymera Festival, 6th and 7th June, for Sci Fi, Fantasy and Horror. There's a Pitch Perfect event on the Sunday morning (submit your pitch to apply) - pitch panel = Kate Coe of Rebellion publishing, Lee Harris Senior Editor Tor.com publishing, John Jarrold literary agent. There are free (yes! I said free) workshops by David Bishop, Director Edinburgh Napier University Creative writing course, on both days (but book your place). There will be an open mic event (not yet advertised) and plenty of author events. Check out their website or on twitter. Tickets for events go on sale March 16th.
If any one is going, let me know. We could pal up. :)
