Curious about Litopians

Someone has recommended that I try an imprint of a large publishing house that only does e-books. What do all think? Do any of you have experience with e-books only?

For the right book or genre they can be the way to go. @Carol Rose is the expert on this!

If it's a bonafide company that exposes their sales, many people now go down this route. And if a book sells well, it's a possibility to then interest a mainstream publisher. However, there are lots of individuals who set up online 'companies' in the hope that you make money for them without them having to do any work or advertising. So market research is the key, I think.

@ChrisLewando is spot on. Do your research, but a digital only imprint of one of the big 5 does sound promising!

It is an imprint of Bloomsbury Publishing -so pretty big.

I spent so much time faffing around worrying about their payment rates, etc, that they have now closed their submissions!

I don't see why you shouldn't try an imprint that only does epublishing as long as they do a large degree of promotion. That would be the only benefit as far as I can see.
