I will be celebrating the other solstice, but have a lovely holiday, whichever hemisphere you're in, and whatever you're celebrating this year!

In Spain, 21st of June there is san juan (St. John), your walk into the sea backwards, and come out front wards, cos everyone needs a 'reboot' a restart half way though the year.

What a great idea! I'll have to remember that on Boxing Day, which we usually spend on the beach. We do a solstice backpacking trip for our 'reboot'--5 days on the St. James Walkway this year, leaving in just 2 days!
