I spotted this display of British books. I.e. - published in the UK, with metric measurements for sale in a farm store in Pennsylvania. Who would even think of shipping them over? But they were there, appeared to be excellent, and proof that books have more reach than most people would imagine...

Interesting video on Barnes and Noble. Almost a puff piece because it leaves out important details, especially store demographics. It's easy to believe that downtown and college town stores are booming, but despite the video, I'm getting the feeling (from my own visits) that the suburban stores...
