Hi, Sarit. Thank you. Are you a screenwriter too? Yes, I was aware of the changes. Some are ceasing to exist, others are merging, and even Nicholls has changed its application process. Writers now have to submit through a 3rd party vetting system. Given the number of scripts they must receive, I can well understand it. But it is just my luck that the whole industry is being overhauled just when I get interested in it (and, more importantly, my son is trying to find work as a camera operator). My husband and I were joking about the competition (FYI it was the UK Film Festival Screenwriting Comp - feature film category). Perhaps there were only 45 entrants. One won bronze, another won silver, and the third won gold. The rest of us made up the 'top 42' brigade.
