How about something like Crowdfunder to raise some cash? I know nothing about it myself, but I've been amazed by the sums I've read people have received. I'm sure you have some good pics of your husband's work and you could put some worthwhile pleading together.

I've toyed with the idea before. But we use over 400€ of gas every week, not to mention raw materials, electricity, rent, insurance... And, sadly, suitable locations are few and far between. I doubt we could collect enough money to stay open for even a month. It's a shame because he is a damn good blower. But thanks for caring. 1680612277213.jpeg

As someone who is keeping a forge for a young blacksmith I have an inkling of your dilemma. Courage.

Wow, Rachel. I'm impressed. I LOVE glass-blowing art. I can't imagine what it would be to move a glass-blowing studio. You probably can't set one up just anywhere. I wish you the best in finding a new location that works, and is affordable, too! You need to keep creating such beautiful art pieces!

Have you considered doing a Go Fund Me campaign?

Maybe not Go Fund Me, since it's for non-profits. But Kickstarter is used by artists to fund projects, and there are other crowdfunding sites for artists, too, I always suggest googling for solutions.
