LOL, yes, the rider was carted off. I wanted to keep the horse. It would have made a lovely big brother to my cat.

The horse was fine (he walked ok when I brought him over to the farmer) but I'm not so sure about the rider. The ambulance left the field with blue lights. I suspect the horse fell (it was slippery in the field) and landed on the rider @Hannah F

Ah yes, @Emily you have no idea how tempting that is. Harry Horse is now in the field between my house and the airfield where I found him, looking a bit sore and bruised. He's now got a tiny limp. He came to my back garden to either say hello, or more likely to say 'let me in, I need a lie down'. Hmmm. Husband or horse? Husband or horse. I won't tell you which. It may just sound too weird.
