Oh, what are you up to now? :) What's Rolfing?

Not to be confused with ROFLing (Rolling On the Floor Laughing) . :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

I might end up ROFLing... Hopefully! It's kind of deep tissue work, quite painful I've heard. Ten sessions. You know me, I'll try anything...

Cool. You'll love/hate it. It can be challenging. Just breathe and relax into it.

Ah! OK. Yes, have had such tratamientos, trying to release hamstring contractures. The first is the worst. Hopefully you will not be ROFLING ....Roaring on floor.

I remember receiving a fairly humdrum aromatherapy massage while the person on the treatment table across from me was getting a serious Rolfing (!)

There was a lot of oofing and ouching, too.

But she looked two dress-sizes thinner and two inches taller when it was all over...

What is "Rolfing"? As an Australian it brings to mind immediate connotations of wobble-boards, but I'm sure that's not it.

It could well be. All I know at this stage is that they expect me to undress to underwear. I have the opera later that day, for which I expect to be fully dressed again.

A yes, but you might be so chilled (or shell-shocked) after the Rolfing that you dress in the wrong clothes. Good massages tend to make people wander around, looking confused and unkempt.

Normal. :)
