Still working on the bawdy songs side of things - within reason I reckon I can make them up (animal metaphors, fruit and veg metaphors, you can imagine the drill) but it would be good to make sure I get the tone right!!

You can have this one, if you like: Emily has a rather stinky cat. I noticed, while stroking it, I couldn't get too close to it. It made me feel queer, I reached for my beer, then fed it a sausage. The little puss purred, then coughed up a bird...etc

Wow, that's just w-a-y too close to the knuckle for my protagonist's personality!! MIght do for his drinking buddy, though...
