My sister lives in Australia and is about half an hour from the fires, so they are not overly concerned yet. Trouble is their house backs straight onto the bush of a national park. Apparently, they haven't had rain for weeks so everything is very dry .

Whole national park's are gone! Someone we know was asked to be ready to evacuate. Scary!

Oh yes, the wildlife Apparently people are writing phone numbers on horses in case they need to be let loose. Hopefully, it's all precautionary. But it's very gusty and hot

I am swinging from one extreme to another. Either I can't write because I am worrying about the end of the world, or I can't stop, and I am using writing to keep me sane ( in my safe zone)
