I heard from someone who was there that Kaufman wasn't too wonderful..? But I'm going to wait for the DVD anyway.

Kaufmann has a “bad boy” reputation, apparently he didn’t show up for all rehearsals, and might even have pulled out from the whole thing… but none of that showed in his performance. He and Tézier were equally brilliant. Making the show quite epic.
