But like medical studies test a small sample of the population for indications of results, so is Querytracker a tool for writers to see a sample of what people are writing. Like @Hannah Faoileán says though, good concepts pop out from the crowd :)

Trends are cyclic, but a darn good c9ncept told darn well will pique interest whatever the trends say. (Just means in an oversaturated genre, you have to achieve even more on both aforementioned counts before an agent/publisher will care.)
