I'm intimidated by your word count so far—that's awesome! (Also, yes, I find historical fiction super hard to write. I had to do it once in uni and I remember having to do so much upfront research for it).
I'm working on a historical fiction piece - the genre alone has always been a favorite to read, but incredibly intimidating to me as a writer. I started from scratch on November 1st, and my goal is to reach 50,000 words by the end of November. So...
Welcome!
Update from me: my audiobook arrived last week and I've been madly proofing the files. My narrator has done a fabulous job. I'm 47/57 chapters down and hoping to finish off the proof this week.

I feel a dunce, probably just tired, but I can't open the spreadsheet.
I'm polishing The Girl who Breathed Stories query package and want to query 3 agents per week.
Guess I better go first with this. I'm working on the end of my Rarkyn trilogy book 3. It's currently at 250k (yes I know 😱). I'm hoping to get 20k written or to finish the damn thing—whichever comes first.
I also have the audio of book 2...
