• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Wow! I found this exercise as a way to 'get real' in my writing.

The inner voice comes from emotion and passion that is fuelled by something...this one is anger...

I quite like the idea of starting from your experiences and capturing it on paper.

Nice..wonder if I am brave enough to try it...are you? :)

Interesting. I have always felt that there were things inside any story that different readers pick up on. I can't think of an author that didn't throw in a few of his personal "pet peeves" or some subject he is trying to get through to the reader. Sometimes, it overt. Other times it's hidden, but it is still there. That is my opinion anyway.

Yeah that was cool. Not sure if she answered the question — in fact I don't think there was even a question in the first place — but I suppose that was a distinctive voice, wasn't it?
