Welcome! Update from me: my audiobook arrived last week and I've been madly proofing the files. My narrator has done a fabulous job. I'm 47/57 chapters down and hoping to finish off the proof this week. Meanwhile, I've added about 3.4k to book 3.

I'm working on a historical fiction piece - the genre alone has always been a favorite to read, but incredibly intimidating to me as a writer. I started from scratch on November 1st, and my goal is to reach 50,000 words by the end of November. So...

I'm intimidated by your word count so far—that's awesome! (Also, yes, I find historical fiction super hard to write. I had to do it once in uni and I remember having to do so much upfront research for it).
