As some may know. I have a foot in both music and writing camps and I despair at how things are going in both disciplines regarding AI passing off composites of stolen IP as new and original material.
I think the disease now has a stronger hold in music. Sadly, I believe that what sounds like reasonably competent new music (that's not) is easier to pass off than new competent writing.
But, how long before this happens in writing? I don't have an answer except to say it makes me feel sick as the genie is out of the bottle and I don't think legal eagles can stuff it back in there.
In this video Rick Beato gives some clarity over the accuracy of the claims being made, but nevertheless, the causal punter wouldn't care less about the truth and will simply believe the hype. Which in turn strengthens AI's position giving it more credence.
Cah!

Rant over.
