Selling cakes for a pound a (smallish) slice. Chocolate cake, mixed berry cake, lemon drizzle cake and polenta carrot cake for the gluten-dodgers.

I had that completely wrong. When I was a little boy, I had a wonderful time in a field of cattle, smashing the dried puddles of cow droppings to pieces with a golf club. Can't say my uncle, who owned said club, was pleased, nor was my mother who had to get me clean and wash my clothes.
