Finally had a chance to listen to this. We were in the middle of our family Easter dinner so I couldn't tune in live. Some really interesting submissions this past week!

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Faceslap, their data-harvesting ethics leave a lot to be desired.

Yes, I agree. However, you still ought to be able to watch the video without logging in or creating an account - I can see it now (on a desktop pc) and I'm not logged in...


We may move from Facebook in the future. They currently provide us with (for free) a useful and reliable platform to host live, HD video. That's their main attraction.

Actually I think it might be a browser compatibility issue.
I've just tried it on someone else's PC with a different version of IE and the popup comes up OK.
It looks like Faceslap may have changed their embedded video plugin.

@Tim James, I sometimes have to use Chrome instead of Safari to view the videos.

Facebook don't really like you escaping their "ecosystem", and so embedding their videos on other sites isn't particularly easy (I think you have to use an iframe). They really want to keep you on their site, all the time.
What I tend to do is to create a totally separate recording of each Pop-Up show, and embed that version here, for members only. The public Facebook version gets deleted after a week or so, the non-public version stays up here for some weeks longer. As far as the last show is concerned, I didn't keep a local copy, so the Fb version is the only one you can view. And it will be gone in a few days.

I'm trying Chrome now and that seems to have it up so maybe I will use that for Litopia from now on.
