I've just received a message stating that they are reaching out to me after I've previously expressed interest.

I don't recall having even heard of them, let alone expressed an interest, before today.

Yeah, I initially put it down to a very poor understanding (on the publishers’ behalf) of what exactly AuthorHouse was (is!) and how it scammed folk on the big wide internet. But PRH would have done their due diligence before laying out that kind of cash. So they didn’t just buy AH because AH high-pressure-sold them into it, which is apparently their business MO.

Now sold to Najafi Companies, a private equity firm.
